Today I started a DIY project I've been wanting to make for a long long time (the tutorial was put up last June!)
These beautiful shelves by A Beautiful Mess. I went over to my dad's house this morning, since he has all the good tools. It was a lovely bike ride, but a somewhat wet one when I went back... Very enjoyable though, riding through the rain with good music and a good rain suit.
I did not finish the project, but look at the progress (and some pictures from the ride):
I'm planning to make one with three combs and one with two to hang in our living room. It's a lot of work and there were some difficulties not mentioned in the tutorial, but I think I tackled them very well.
