I've been very busy and haven't had much time to blog. I worked a lot, but also had a lovely party in the park. This weekend I hang my honeycomb shelves with some help from my dad. Our living room has had a total transformation. We've thrown out the tv, because it was broken and decided not to get a new one. Right now I love sitting on our couch and thinking about what to change next. I already have a diy pouf in my mind.
It also made me start crocheting. I have loads of yarn from my mother and I think I'll try to make a grannysquare blanket, using Sandra Juto's lovely tutorial. It'll be a white and blue blanket with loads of different kind of yarns.
This week I'll go to Berlin! Afterwards I hope to share loads of photos and a video! When I'm back and the light is just right I'll share some more pictures from the new living room.

Home grown radish, a pizza shaped like Africa or a skull (accidentally!), bread fresh from the oven, a happy breakfast and my plant nursery.

It's been a rough few weeks with not enough sleep, too much work and no rest for my thoughts. I think it culminated in fainting in a shop yesterday (luckily my boy was there with me and nothing bad happened). Now I have a short vacation in which I plan to finish two big photography/film projects, but I must listen a bit more to my body. 

I miss nature around me, which I've experienced in abundance on Terschelling and I feel stuck in the city. So a short camping trip of one night is also planned next week. And I hope the bike ride every morning to my temporary studio will do me good.

I have felt a bit lost, but I'm getting back on track again. 

Lately

Lately I've been to quite a few concerts: I saw The Knife, which was a weird show. The next day Junip played at the Melkweg and the week before I went to !!! and danced liked crazy.
I joined in a parade organized by a dear friend at Hemeltjelief festival and dressed up as a giant disco ball and it was amazing!
Today I had a quiet day at the house. I love my newly painted blue balcony floor, of which I'll show more soon. And I reorganized my kitchen and put my glass collection on display.

Lately

Last weekend spring finally arrived! It was such beautiful weather and I've made sure to enjoy every little bit of it. This includes a musical visit to the park with friends, caring for my plants on the balcony, buying yet another plant for my studio, healthy drinks and baking unhealthy but delicious cookies (no pictures of that alas)
